Hamilton Girls visited Kipling Collegiate Saturday the 26th of September to play a friendly match against our girls. The friendly game ended in 1-1.
For Youth Initiative's (FYI) who sponsored this event vision is to create healthy communities where youth are fully engaged and equal participants in society. For Youth Initiative was born out of the simple idea that if young people are given the chance to succeed, they will. The organization was originally formed in 1995 as a small pilot project, developed by a group of nonprofit professionals who shared the belief that all young people deserve the opportunity to create successful futures.
FYI provided the girls with pizza and juice after the game. It was a fun active day for the girls. We strive to set up more matches for the girls in the future!
